Chuck Pals Called Home To The Lord

It is with great sadness that I am communicating the passing of Chuck Pals who was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015.

Chuck has been not only a dear friend but also a fellow laborer in the Kingdom for decades.  He was also one of our generals, in the cause of Christ. He will be a great loss to the churches in Chicago-land, and the wider community, not to mention the huge support that he and Vi have been to the greater endeavor across our church network internationally.

Our condolences are with his dear wife, Vi whom we carry in our heart with great affection. Our condolences go also, to Chuck’s family who will greatly miss him. It goes without saying; Chuck has been called to higher ground and will have had a blessed entry into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We will, in honor of Chuck, and in support of Vi and the family, have representatives from the UK with Ian and myself; On behalf of our international partners and friends, at a special service to be held at Living Word Church in Lansing, Illinois, on Monday, Dec. 21st at 6 pm. It would be good to stand with our partners and friends from across the USA.

Please, pray for Vi and the family. Remember also the ministries who worked locally with Chuck for so many years.

Your fellow laborers, together for God’s Kingdom,
Alan and Betty Scotland

Global Horizons/Lifelink International December 2015 eNews

Dear Friends,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

As we come to the end of this year, we are reminded of that beautiful text, ‘Up to now, the Lord has helped us.’ Truthfully as we scan back over the year we have much to rejoice in: the provision of God, the protection of God; and the inspiration of God.

All of these have been our experience wherever we have gone. This includes our leadership forums, our training initiatives, our mission enterprise; we must say that the Lord has been with us.

As we come to the end of this year and position ourselves for the next year, we have every confidence that God holds the key to the future. We want to stay close to Him, sensitive to His Spirit so that we can obey His promptings and His leadings.

Blessings,
Alan Scotland
